Every week, our pantry is kept running smoothly by a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that students have access to the food they need. These volunteers are the unsung heroes behind the scenes, and without them, we wouldn’t be able to serve as many students as we do.

From sorting donations to packing food boxes, our volunteers do it all with a smile on their faces. Many of them are students themselves, giving their time in between classes to help their peers. Others are community members who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.

Take Sarah, for example, one of our longtime volunteers. “I started volunteering here because I wanted to give back to the community. Now, I feel like I’m part of a family,” she says. Sarah helps organize food drives and greets students when they come to pick up their groceries. “It’s so rewarding to know that I’m helping someone get through a tough time,” she adds.

Another volunteer, James, is a retired teacher who spends his free time sorting donations and stocking shelves. “I love working here because it keeps me connected to the younger generation. Seeing these students persevere despite their challenges is truly inspiring,” James shares.

Our volunteers are more than just helpers—they are the heart and soul of our operation. Their dedication, compassion, and hard work ensure that students have access to nutritious food, and their positive energy creates a welcoming and supportive environment.
